«I check the weather every day; and it is going to be sunny which is perfect for this kind of events. It makes me very happy», - said the famous biathlete at a press conference prior to the Legends’ Race.  «People keep asking me where and how to buy the tickets. It's great that our event has sparked interest. I hope there will be a lot of people in Raubichi», - she added.

Two thousand tickets were sold in the first week of release on www.ticketpro.by . All proceeds will be donated to build a children's hospice in the Minsk region.

When Darya was asked who she is going to cheer for during the race she replied without a second thought: «I will cheer for friendship, of course! «The Legends’ Race: biathlon stars for Peace» will be an interesting and intriguing event to watch; and I’m incredibly happy to be part of it».

The famous biathlete also added that the upcoming tournament will be another «exam» for the sport complex, and will help eliminate any possible concerns when submitting candidature for hosting major international sport events.
