The festive and merry events such as marriage and expecting a baby girl are not excuses for Darya Domracheva to put on hold her dynamic lifestyle. Three times Olympic Champion has been working very hard on her personal project throughout the summer and as a result today she presents to the public her online store.

Darya Domracheva: "I’ve always liked creating ideas and inventing something. When I could not train at the full mode during last summer I used that time for creativity, and biathlon was my inspiration. At a certain point I realized that I was thinking about making another project. On the one hand I wanted to do something nice - sort of a present - for my fans who have missed watching me compete, as well as to come up with something that could further motivate and give that extra boost for people to start doing sports. On the other hand, I knew that I have to express myself only in areas that I am best at.  As I grew up in the family of architects the design itself always appealed to me, and if talking about expertise then I can say that I'm an expert in sportswear, especially considering that I spend most of the time wearing it… And so it began. As a result today we launch online store where anyone can shop for clothing & souvenirs. "

The English version of the website and worldwide delivery service will be available to the customers very shortly. 

Darya Domracheva: "I really hope that wearing a t-shirt or a headband with a biathlon print will make its owner to run that extra mile, to set a small personal record or finally become a gym member. Doing any sport will bring you more joy if you're wearing something that makes you feel confident. "

One of the interesting things about this project is that for shooting the line-up of the online store Darya didn’t invite professional models, instead she invited long-term, committed biathlon fans. Darya believes that all people who are beautiful on the inside are also beautiful on the outside. 

Ekaterina Turkova: "I accepted the offer immediately, although, I must say I was worried and afraid to let Darya down. However, the atmosphere in the studio was so comfortable that I quickly calmed myself down and tried to do the best I could. It’s a totally new experience for me comparing to being a biathlon fan for many years (laughs). As long as I can remember I have always been following biathlon. My dad got me hooked, so now I don’t miss a single race. "

Andrei Vahin: "I was driving in the morning and I remember being nervous as I knew that professional photo shoot is not all fancy, it’s a hard work. For me to run a marathon is way easier than to pose in front of the cameras (laughs).However, I really liked the idea and I’m very happy to be a part of this project because sport is the my family’s philosophy  and a very important part of my life. It’s such a cool experience, and I’m very grateful to Dasha for inviting me. "

All items presented at www.shop.daryadomracheva.by are made in Belarus (that was one of the conditions Darya insisted on when starting this project).

Darya Domracheva: "Today you can buy absolutely anything. The times when you have to pay a fortune for a tiny t-shirt are luckily gone. It was important for me not only to express myself but also to have everything done in my home country. Thus, I wanted to show to the world and even to ourselves that Belarus is a place where with a proper approach and attention to detail you can create excellent quality goods with various prints that will not come off after two months of regular washing. I am glad to have found new partners NikoFirm and Barera, and I hope we will continue our collaboration and will satisfy all needs of our customers.

Currently I am in Sjusjoen (Norway) focusing on biathlon and not at all distracted from the training process as I have a good team behind me that’s involved in implementing my project. So I’ll see you soon and have a great shopping spree! "
